One of the things I’m most proud of is continuing to serve our community outside the office.
This summer we’ve been honored to work alongside incredible organizations, including:
- National Aging in Place Council, Long Island Chapter
- Pulse Center for Patient Safety Education
- Alzheimer’s Association
- Long Island Fight for Charity
Each of these organizations reminds me that success isn’t measured only by what we build for ourselves, but by the lives we impact along the way.

Over the past several months, Safe Haven has been focused on helping our clients become more proactive instead of reactive—because the goal is to avoid regret before it ever has a chance to show up.
We’ve been collaborating with Irissa to develop innovative employee benefit strategies that can provide meaningful health benefits while creating payroll tax savings for employers. When designed properly, everyone wins—the employer, the employee, and the business.
We’ve also been helping employers build smarter benefit packages by combining high deductible health plans with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). HSAs remain one of the most powerful financial tools available today, offering triple tax advantages while helping families prepare for future healthcare expenses.
We’ve expanded conversations around voluntary benefits as well, helping employees protect themselves against life’s unexpected events without placing additional financial strain on employers.
For our Medicare clients, we’ve continued reviewing coverage to ensure plans still match their doctors, medications, and healthcare needs. Medicare isn’t something you should set and forget. Every year deserves a fresh look.
And beyond insurance, we’ve encouraged business owners to meet with HR professionals and qualified attorneys to review hiring practices, employee handbooks, compliance, contracts, and other safeguards that can prevent expensive problems later.
Planning isn’t exciting.
Neither is reviewing paperwork.
But neither is dealing with regret.
My Challenge to You

Take one hour this month.
Think about something you’ve been putting off—and ask yourself what it might cost you if you continue to wait.
- Review your Medicare coverage.
- Review your employee benefits.
- Meet with an HR consultant.
- Talk with your attorney.
- Review your retirement plan.
- Open that Health Savings Account.
- Update your beneficiary forms.
- Review your life insurance.
Whatever it is…
Don’t wait until it becomes urgent.
The best time to prepare is before life forces you to—and before regret becomes expensive.
As always, thank you for trusting Safe Haven Insurance Agency.
We’re honored to be Your Insurance Safe Place.
Wishing you a healthy and enjoyable summer.
